Kim is not only a great photographer, she is also a wonderful writer. Her publications (and photographs)  have been in a large number of media channels on the web and in print.

What Woman Want

Kim is the Contributing Adviser for the magazine What Women Want + More. She enjoys writing articles for the magazine and shooting photographs for the cover of every issue. Ideas for stories and photographs just seem to come into her mind and when they do, she begins writting or photographing for her next article.

In October of 1997 an epic battle ensued between two local Niagara heroes, ‘Iron’ Mike Benson, and Jon ‘Gonzo’ Mark of St. Catharines’ own 97.7 Htz FM radio station. With each of these players selecting teams of brave young soldiers, they took to the fields of battle and duked it out, Paint Ball style!

But what is a war without the true warrior? On this day in history Kim Cartmell threw caution to the wind and hit the battlefield with her weapon of choice, a Canon some might say – yes Kim hit the fields fiercely shooting shot after shot. Her ammunition? A creative mind, a vision of pure focus, and a satchel full of lenses. Kim risked spatters of paint to capture this epic battle for her story in the photo spread on 9.7.7 Htz FM and Niagara Tactical Adventure.
